I hope visitors to this exhibition, both online and in person, will take a moment to read these insightful artist statements. When curator Scott Bennett invited artists to participate, he worked closely with them to intentionally select a single work for exhibit. At the same time, he tasked them with sharing observations and anecdotes which would provide insights into their approach to "object matter" in their practices.
