I hope visitors to this exhibition, both online and in person, will take a moment to read these insightful artist statements. When curator Scott Bennett invited artists to participate, he worked closely with them to intentionally select a single work for exhibit. At the same time, he tasked them with sharing observations and anecdotes which would provide insights into their approach to "object matter" in their practices. For myself, I find this type of "peeking behind the curtain" into the creative process to be both intriguing and enlightening. Please let us know what you think!
