Provenance: Pierre Matisse Gallery, New York, NY. Exhibited in "Miró Oiseau solaire, Oiseau Lumaire, étincelles"; Catalogue #20. Purchased December 5, 1967 from Pierre Matisse Gallery by private family collection (copy of original sale paperwork available to purchaser). Work has resided in this family collection to this day, and is being offered for sale for the first time.
