Sculpture is an artform whereby the artist creates a two or three-dimensional depiction from a broad range of materials. In some instances pieces are sculpted by removing material – as in wood or stone carving. Other sculptures are made by adding materials ingularly or in combination (clay, metal, fabric, glass, plaster, plexiglass, etc.) to create a model or assemblege. The scope and definition of what may be considered sculpture continues to evolve with each new generation of artists. We are pleased to offer for sale an array of pieces made between 1871-1978.
